The one question I am always asked everywhere

The one question I am asked more often than any other is: “Are you travelling alone?”.
I reply in affirmative because I am, and what I find interesting is that if a woman asks me, she always replies “Oh, I could never do that! You are very brave.”
My response to this is: “If I waited around to find people to travel with, I would never leave Australia!”.
Funny how me as a solo traveller is something to be admired from afar by other women.
