Travelling Homebody's photo essay of Tet in Hanoi

Tet in Hanoi – Lunar New Year 2019 – Photo Essay

Tet — Lunar New Year — is a very special time in Hanoi. This year, I went for a wander around the Flower Market, close to Dong Xuan Market in the Old Quarter. This is something that local Hanoians do with their friends and family. The area is alive with colour and noise, and at this time of year, much busier than usual as people buy peach and kumquat trees. I took these pics with my trusty Canon 600D, which has travelled the world with me.

Happy New Year! Chuc mung nam moi!
