See why Santorini is so beautiful with this photo essay by Travelling Homebody's Diane Lee.

Photo essay: Oia, Santorini

Santorini, is one of the most beautiful places on earth. This photo essay of the village of Oia, shot while I was there in 2013, gives you an idea of what it’s like. There is nothing like wandering around the skinny, winding streets and getting lost in alleys. I ended up having a glass of rose in a cafe overlooking the Caldera. Bliss!

Great photos. I was in Santorini about two years ago and loved it. It’s one of the most picturesque places I’ve been to

This may just be one of the most beautiful places ever! Great job capturing it and sharing! I love that it’s just the same photo over and over that you tend to see with this area. You captured so many different elements.

Thank you Jessica. I try to capture the general touristy pics, but also something a little out of the ordinary!

I would love to visit santorini! Your pictures are beautiful, not like any I’ve seen of the place before and you’ce captured photos from some great angles.
