By this time tomorrow, I would have checked into my hotel in Changi Airport, foraged for food, maybe caught a movie and prepped for a restful night’s sleep (hopefully!) before flying out to Delhi early on Thursday morning.
By this time Thursday afternoon, I would have checked into my hotel in Amritsar, Punjab, up near the Pakistani border. It will be a pleasant 21° in Amritsar, a welcome change from the heat that has plagued Adelaide recently.
I have been very much looking forward to this trip, which will take in The Golden Triangle and then see me travel by train down the west coast to the south. I decided to do this trip as a group tour, mainly because I wasn’t sure about personal safety in India. Better safe then sorry.
I expect it to be challenging, difficult, exciting and wonderful. I’ll let you know.
Safe travels
Thank you, Gary. Daughter is holding the fort while I’m away 🙂
I hope the fort stays the way you left it.
So do I, especially the garden!
